"It is as though you are there!"

Prepare for an emotional experience, as thousands of migratory birds converge on Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge, as though they were dropping out of the sky.

Lake Mattamuskeet, in Hyde County, North Carolina, is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Since 1934, the 40,000-acre lake has been the dominant feature of Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge. Lake Mattamuskeet has been the winter home for thousands of migratory birds since before the beginning of recorded history.

The Lake is one of the best birding and nature-photography destinations in the Atlantic Flyway.

This production has no dialog, only the natural sounds of the wildlife and appropriate music to underscore the beautiful cinematography. It is suitable for all ages and ethnicities.

“Amazing wildlife scenes!”

Pungo Lake, located on Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, is in Hyde and Washington Counties of eastern North Carolina. The 2,800-acre lake is the annual wintering spot for thousands of Snow Geese and Tundra Swans. You can see more than two hundred species of birds around the lake, including twenty-six species of migratory waterfowl. Famous for its black bear population, forty species of mammals live in the vicinity of the lake.

This video follows the award-winning production, “A Winter Day - Lake Mattamuskeet.” There are no humans in the video and there is no narration only wildlife, the natural sounds of wildlife in surround-sound, and a beautiful music score.

Wildlife as it should be filmed - in high definition, natural setting, and natural lighting!
